Data Network Cabling & Design

Stable networks begin with structured, properly installed cabling. NetFire provides professional network cabling services for commercial, industrial, and campus environments. From horizontal Ethernet runs to fiber backbone installations, we ensure every cable is terminated, labeled, and tested to meet performance and reliability standards.

Important: This service is more than running wires. We deliver organized, standards-compliant installations that support long-term scalability, reduce signal loss, and simplify troubleshooting.

What’s Included

Ethernet Cabling

  • Cat5e for standard gigabit access
  • Cat6 for high-speed short runs and POE delivery
  • Cat6A for 10-Gig connections over longer distances
  • Cat7 for shielded, high-noise environments requiring enhanced interference resistance
  • Cat8 for ultra-short 25G/40G links in data center or high-speed applications
  • Horizontal and vertical runs
  • Patch panel terminations
  • Faceplate and jack installation
  • Labeling and certification testing

All Ethernet installations follow ANSI/TIA-568 structured cabling standards and are tested to confirm compliance with performance targets.

Fiber Optic Cabling

  • Singlemode fiber for long-distance links and high-bandwidth backbones
  • Multimode fiber (OM3, OM4, OM5) for short-to-mid distance deployments with lower cost transceivers
  • Indoor and outdoor fiber runs
  • Precision splicing, polishing, and connectorization
  • Patch panel or LIU integration
  • Optical loss testing and certification

NetFire fiber installations are compatible with modern transceiver standards and support speeds from 1G to 800G, depending on physical media and optics. We build for current needs and future upgradeability.

Coaxial Cabling

  • RG6 and RG59 for CCTV, cable TV, and broadband
  • Coaxial terminations with BNC or F-type connectors
  • Signal routing for head-end and distribution panels

Rack Design & Integration

  • Rack layouts for MDF, IDF, and data closets
  • Vertical and horizontal cable management solutions
  • Proper spacing for cooling, airflow, and accessibility
  • PDU and UPS integration for organized power delivery
  • Labeling schemes aligned with patch panel and endpoint ports

Racks are planned to accommodate current equipment with room for future expansion, ensuring a neat and maintainable infrastructure aligned with your long-term IT goals.

Deliverables

  • Cable path planning and wall/ceiling routing
  • Professionally terminated and labeled endpoints
  • Patch panel or rack-mounted integration
  • Test results for Ethernet (TDR) and fiber (loss/OTDR)
  • As-built cable maps and port documentation

All installations are performed according to applicable code and industry standards, with clear labeling and proper cable management to ensure long-term serviceability.

Requirements and Assumptions

  • Access to all cable paths, wall cavities, ceilings, or conduits must be coordinated in advance
  • Final scope of work must be reviewed before installation begins
  • Customer must confirm any special labeling, jack color, or cabinet requirements
  • Active equipment should be powered and accessible for testing and connection
  • Install timeline may vary based on facility access, environmental factors, or buildout coordination
