Block Storage

Overview

Block storage on NetFire Public Cloud is available for use exclusively with virtual machines. We offer a wide range of disk types offering varying performance and availability options. There are no fees for IOPS or bandwidth related to block storage disks. Pricing is flat and predictable across all tiers.

Disks can be downsized but require scheduled downtime.


Pricing Table

Disk Type Cost per GB Description
Standard SSD $0.150 Reliable default for general workloads. Always locally attached. Minimum disk size is 128 GB. Disk space increases in 128 GB increments.
Basic NVMe SSD $0.133 High-speed sequential read and writes or latency-sensitive tasks that do. Always network-attached. Minimum disk size is 1 TB. Disk space increases in 1 TB increments.
Standard NVMe SSD $0.200 High-speed sequential read and writes or latency-sensitive tasks that do. May be local or network-attached depending on machine family. Minimum disk size is 128 GB. Disk space increases in 128 GB increments.
Standard HDD $0.035 Economical storage for archival, backups, and infrequent access. Always network-attached. Minimum disk size is 512 GB. Disk space increases in 128 GB increments.

Basic and Standard tiers include a different level of redundancy and high availability. Basic disk types include up to 2 copies of data. Standard disk types include 3 copies of data. Pricing shown is monthly.

NetFire supports the following virtual disk formats for flexible virtual machine migrations into the Public Cloud:
